Atlantic Jazz Lab Orchestra tribute to Duke Ellington heads to Tenerife, La Palma and Fuerteventura

Part two of the second #CANARYISLANDJAZZWEEK takes to the road on three more islands with a programme that pays tribute to the legendary Duke Ellington on the 125^th anniversary of his birth.

Following a spectacular tour that sold out all venues in El Hierro, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Gomera and even Malaga, the band’s In a Duke Ellington Mood show continues to immerse audiences in the fast-paced, elegant swing of masterpieces such as In The Mood, Such Sweet Thunder, Portrait of Louis Armstrong and Happy-Go-Lucky Local.

The Atlantic Jazz Lab Orchestra are the Canary Islands’ leading resident jazz band. Led by composer and trumpet-player Natanael Ramos, it will transform concert nights into an authentic jazz club in the purest Cotton Club style.
